The Akidamy is fully committed to upholding the highest standards of early childhood education, safety, care, and governance. We strictly adhere to the National Quality Framework (NQF), which sets the national benchmark for early childhood education and care services in Australia. The Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority (ACECQA) plays a vital role in ensuring these high standards are met across the sector. Rigorous Staff Recruitment and Ongoing Training
Our commitment to safety starts with our dedicated team. The Akidamy has a unique onboarding process for all employees, ensuring comprehensive background checks, including Working With Children Checks (WWCC) and National Police Checks, prior to employment. These WWCC checks are regularly monitored and updated.
Our staff members are consistent and dedicated educators who are permanent across our schools. This fosters strong relationships and consistent learning experiences for your child. We do not employ casual or contractor educational staff at the school to ensure consistently high standards. Importantly, all staff members undergo mandatory reporting and comprehensive child protection training, which they complete before starting work and refresh annually. Furthermore, all staff receive regular onboarding and retraining on our operational and safety policies to guarantee adherence to our high standards.
Enhanced Supervision and Higher Ratios
To further enhance supervision throughout the school, our child-to-educator ratio exceeds industry standards, and our educators have significantly higher levels of experience and qualifications. This commitment allows for more individualised attention and increases safety for each child. Furthermore, our student management structure is unique to our school:
- Studio Teacher: Degree-qualified Early Childhood Teacher, responsible for all education programming in every studio.
- Studio Leader: Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience, manages studio operations and other experienced educators in the Studio.
- Collaborative Team: Supported by a School Director, Educational Leader (Pedagogista), Art Teacher (Atelierista), and Italian Teacher.

Secure Information and Technology Practices
We maintain stringent governance regarding the storage of information and images of your child, ensuring their privacy and security. We also enforce clear boundaries within the organisation to ensure high controls for data security and professionalism with respect to your child’s information. The school has strict policies and controls in place for staff and visitors regarding the use of mobile phones and image recording devices, which are restricted to designated areas and purposes only.

Our commitment goes beyond security measures. We consistently meet and exceed industry benchmarks, including our proactive engagement with Kidsafe to prevent child injuries and our safety management system, 1Place Childcare.
