The Akidamy always offers a well-balanced rotation of vegetarian meals designed for both variety and nutrition, focusing on fresh ingredients, seasonal produce and minimising sugar intake.
Our meals are made fresh from scratch on site in our open kitchen for children and families to see and be involved in. Our Chef Mr David provides a full range of meals including breakfast, morning and afternoon tea, and lunch.
The Akidamy aims to promote healthy eating habits and believe this starts with good role models. Our educators sit with children during their meal times and demonstrate healthy choices and engage in discussions about the food. We make mealtimes relaxed, social and never rushed. We prioritise water as the preferred drink and respect each child’s appetite.
We take allergies and dietary requirements very seriously and will work closely with families to ensure children are catered for with nourishing, satisfying and delicious options.
We post our menu on EarlyWorks and send it out to families at the beginning of each season.
