Community Invitation: Free Messy Play for Toddlers & Kindy Children
Raising young children is a wonderful journey, but finding new, safe, and engaging environments for them to explore—without a price tag attached—can be tricky.
At The Akidamy, we believe that a school is more than just a place of learning; it is a part of the local ecosystem. We want to contribute to the vibrancy of Fremantle and support local families, whether they are part of our school community or not.
That is why, this December, we are opening our doors for a series of Free Messy Sensory Fun & Stay ‘n’ Play sessions.
A Space for Toddlers and Kindy Children to Be Children
We have designed these sessions specifically for toddlers and kindy children (under 5 years). It is a chance for them to engage in the kind of messy, tactile play that helps them learn about the world—squishing, pouring, painting, and creating.
We know that setting up these activities at home often means a lot of cleanup for parents. By hosting this at our school, we are offering you a chance to sit back, relax, and watch your children have fun while we worry about the mess!
Join us for:
Creative Expression: Large-scale painting and art.
Sensory Discovery: Water play, slime, clay, and sand stations.
Social Connection: A great way for your children to interact with others their age.
Our Doors Are Open (No Strings Attached)
We want to be very clear: This is a community event, not a sales pitch.
We understand that choosing an early learning environment is a personal journey. You might simply be looking for a fun Friday activity to get out of the house, or you might be curious to see what our space looks like. Both are perfectly fine!
Just here to play? Fantastic. We are happy to provide a safe, undercover space for your children to enjoy themselves.

While the sessions are free, we do ask that you RSVP so we can ensure we have enough sensory materials prepared for all the toddlers and kindy children attending.
When: Every Friday (5th, 12th, & 19th Dec 2025)
Time: 9:30 am – 10:30 am
Where: The Akidamy – Fremantle
Level 2, 28 Cantonment Street (Above Coles)
Parking: We know parking in Freo can be tough! Enjoy 1 Hour Free Parking at Coles, then take the lift straight up to Level 2.
